The LGA1126B is a system on module built around Rockchip's RV1126B processor, which integrates a 1.6 GHz quad core Cortex A53 CPU and a 3 TOPS NPU for on device AI inference. The module comes in a 30×28.75 mm LGA238 package.
The integrated ISP supports 12MP@30fps, and the AI ISP supports 8MP@30fps, providing spatial noise reduction and image enhancement. For video processing, the hardware encoder handles 12MP H.265/H.264 at 30fps, while the decoder supports 4K H.265/H.264 at 30fps.
The module offers dual MIPI CSI camera inputs, which can be expanded to support up to four camera sensors for applications such as panoramic surveillance and multi angle coverage. Interface options also include USB 3.0/2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, MIPI DSI and RGB display outputs, along with CAN and UART for industrial communication and device control.
Software support covers Debian and Buildroot for general development. For surveillance and security use cases, an IPC optimized firmware variant provides a fast boot mode that reduces startup time compared to standard Linux distributions.
The module is rated for 20 °C to +85 °C operation. Typical applications include AI cameras, smart displays and HMIs, service robots, and automated guided vehicles (AGVs).
