4 About SD Boot

In Boot mode, when the SBC is powered on, the board will load u-boot from eMMC or SD, mount and load the kernel. The kernel will then load essential driver functionality, properly mount necessary filesystems, and begin execution of the System environment.

Compact3566 supports boot from SD card. The image is stored in the SD card. With the Bootable SD card inserted, the SBC will automatically boot from SD card. Create Bootable SD card is similar to uppgrade SD card, the difference just the Choose function mode

Note

The SD card boot firmware of the Android 12 is incompatible with the eMMC, user needs to modify the SDK related configuration. Please contact Boardcon if necessary.
