The KIT1126B is powered by the Rockchip RV1126B’s quad-core Cortex-A53 and 3-TOPS NPU to run mainstream AI models (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) directly at the edge, enabling real-time inference without cloud latency. The dual ISP (12MP hardware ISP plus 8MP AI-ISP) delivers crisp images even in challenging lighting, thanks to HDR and 3DNR, boosting the reliability of vision-based systems. Connectivity is streamlined for real-world deployment: four MIPI CSI and two CVBS inputs allow simultaneous multi-camera capture for panoramic or stereo applications; Ethernet with PoE carries both power and data over a single cable, cutting installation complexity. CAN, RS485, ADC, IR, HDMI, and stepper motor driver interfaces connect directly to industrial sensors, actuators, and displays - no extra dongles needed. The LGA1126B SOM operates from -20°C to +85°C, ensuring stable performance in outdoor or factory floors. Software support covers Debian, Buildroot, and the fast boot IPS system, giving developers flexibility in choosing the right OS for their project.
