The SBC3566 is built around the Rockchip RK3566 quad core Cortex A55 processor (up to 1.8GHz), Mali G52 GPU, and an integrated NPU delivering 1 TOPS of AI performance. It supports 4K video encoding and decoding, along with concurrent processing of multiple 1080P streams. The onboard M.2 slot accommodates either a 4G module or an NVMe SSD for flexible storage and connectivity, while dual MIPI CSI ports enable dual camera setups. Display outputs include HDMI, LVDS, DSI, and eDP, and the board provides RS485, UART, Gigabit Ethernet, and 2.4G Wi Fi/BT4.2 to interface with a wide range of peripherals. The built in NPU enables efficient local AI inference - such as facial recognition, object detection, and voice interaction - with significantly better energy efficiency than CPU only processing, eliminating cloud dependency. With an operating temperature range of 0 80°C, the board is well suited for edge AI gateways, intelligent vision systems, digital signage, industrial HMIs, and in vehicle infotainment applications.
